Poems and Stories

In telling stories we define ourselves and challenge ourselves. We have the opportunity to examine our interaction with life and ideally to become the heroine (or hero) of our own story. In addition we may eventually recognize others as the heroines (or heroes) of their own stories. In writing poetry and song there is the opportunity to express emotions that go beyond words or sense, to play with words for the simple sake of sounds.

I believe these activities have the possibility to heal. Actually there have been some studies showing that people who journal for 20 minutes a day about traumatic events may cope better after this exercise than they did beforehand. Simple Poem

Anyone
Not Seen or Heard
Grows
Excessively
Resentful.
